Arte Weddings is a husband and wife wedding filmmaking studio based near Hermanus in the Western Cape.
With more than twelve years in the wedding industry, Michiel and Annie spent seven years building Michiel & Annie Wedding Films before refining their direction and introducing Arte Weddings.
At its heart are Michiel and Annie. Alongside them are Stephan and PC, each bringing their own experience and personality while sharing the same philosophy: working quietly, observing rather than directing, and allowing the day to unfold naturally.
Michiel & Annie

Both naturally introverted, Michiel and Annie are happiest in quiet places. Outside of weddings, much of their time is spent exploring the Overberg, surrounded by nature, working on creative projects, or enjoying the slower pace of home.

A shared appreciation for art, thoughtful design and the natural world quietly shapes the way they see beauty, light, atmosphere and place.
Stephan
​
Stephan is one of those people who immediately puts others at ease. Relaxed, upbeat and always smiling, he has a way of helping couples and guests feel comfortable while quietly documenting the moments unfolding around them.
​
Outside of weddings, he's just as happy sharing a pizza as enjoying a fine dining experience, never says no to chocolate, and has a long-standing appreciation for good cinema.
PC
​
PC brings a quiet confidence to every wedding day, shaped by years behind the camera. He believes the most meaningful wedding films come from authenticity, moments and people, and has a natural ability to put those around him at ease.
​
Outside of weddings, he's a husband and father of two. Family is an important part of who he is, and much of his time is spent with them when he's not behind the camera.
